The International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ), its President, and its Board of Di-rectors express deep solidarity with the Nepal Women Judges Foundation, our members in Nepal, and all those affected by the devastating flash floods along the Bhote Koshi–Trishuli river corridor, particularly in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading districts.
We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life and the destruction affecting communi-ties across the region. Our thoughts are with the families who have lost loved ones, those awaiting news of missing family and friends, and all those who have been displaced or otherwise affected.
To our colleagues and friends in the Nepal Women Judges Foundation, please know that the global IAWJ community stands with you and the affected communities during this difficult time. We hope for the safety of our members and their families and for strength and resili-ence in the days ahead.
